Last week we introduced Score Builder, a configurable on-chain system that allows for rapid score development on top of ARCx infrastructure at scale. In that post, we also talked about the concepts of Native Scores and Protocol-Specific Scores, which serve both the short and long-tail of score use cases.

With that said, we are excited to announce our first protocol-specific score, the ARCx Loyalty Score

What is the ARCx Loyalty Score?

The ARCx Loyalty Score measures a Passport Holder's participation and engagement across yield farming, token staking and protocol governance within the ARCx ecosystem dating back to September 2020.

Each Passport Holder can access a breakdown of their individual scores on arcx.money.

How is it calculated?

The score is calculated based on the following variables:

• Farming: Participation in any previous ARCx yield farms (50 points per farm)
• Staking: Staking ARCx tokens for stARCx (50 points)
• Staking: Migrating ARCx tokens from old contract addresses (50 points)
• Governance: Voting in each Snapshot proposal (50 points per vote)

What's next?

The ARCx Loyalty Score, as it exists today, is our first attempt at defining a Protocol-Specific Score for ARCx. We expect the calculation variables and weightings to change over time, and we encourage everyone in the community to tell us what you want to see. We have created a new channel for discussing score design in our Discord.

Also, while the ARCx Loyalty Score is the first Protocol-Specific Score, it will certainly not be the last. We are actively working with a number of different protocols to launch new scores over the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned for more news about upcoming scores here.
